Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of Oppocity (the "Game"), operated by Bionyx Pty Ltd ("we", "us", "our"). By accessing or using the Game, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Game.

Eligibility & accounts

• You must be at least 13 years old to use the Game.
• You can play as a guest, or create an account using email, Google, or Apple sign-in.
• You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for activity that occurs under your account.
• You must choose a username that is not offensive, misleading, or infringing. We may remove or change usernames that breach these Terms.

Acceptable use

When using Oppocity, you agree not to:

• Cheat, manipulate scores, or interfere with the leaderboards or game integrity.
• Use bots, scrapers, or automated means to access or play the Game.
• Attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer, or gain unauthorised access to our systems.
• Upload or transmit unlawful, abusive, or infringing content, including via usernames.

We may suspend or terminate access for conduct that breaches these Terms.

Oppocity Pro & purchases

• Oppocity offers a paid upgrade ("Oppocity Pro") that unlocks additional features, including posting scores to the leaderboards and additional game modes.
• Purchases made in the mobile apps are processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play. Purchases made on the web are processed by Stripe via RevenueCat. Your entitlement is tied to your account and shared across platforms where supported.
• All purchases are final and non-refundable. Oppocity Pro is a one-time purchase that unlocks digital content immediately, so we do not offer refunds or exchanges once a purchase is complete. This does not affect any rights you have that cannot be excluded under applicable law, including the Australian Consumer Law. Purchases made through the Apple App Store or Google Play may also be subject to those stores’ own refund policies, which you would need to pursue directly with them.
• Prices and features may change. Changes do not affect entitlements you have already purchased unless stated otherwise.

Intellectual property

The Game, including its design, code, graphics, and content, is owned by Bionyx Pty Ltd and protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable licence to use the Game for your own non-commercial enjoyment. You may not copy, distribute, or create derivative works without our permission.

Availability & changes

We aim to keep the Game available and running smoothly, but we do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Game at any time.

Disclaimers & liability

The Game is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights you have under applicable consumer law (including the Australian Consumer Law), which cannot be excluded. To the extent permitted by law, Bionyx Pty Ltd is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the Game.

Privacy

Your use of the Game is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle your information.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Australia, and you agree to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Australia.
